I did not reply. I remained silent again. Now, his curiosity started increasing. He became restless to know the name of the thinker. My friend was sitting on a chair nearby. He pressed my hand and signalled me to tell the name of the thinker, otherwise uncle would get angry. But I did not react. My friend again hit me on the waist. Again I did not react. He became more worried now. He looked at me and chewed each word and passed the order, "Tell me the name of the thinker."
I remained silent again. I kept looking at the expressions on his face. His curiosity was at its peak. His face started changing. A tense silence prevailed between us. He was becoming desperate to know the name of the thinker. I kept sitting like a statue. Ten minutes passed in these postures.
Finally the professor broke the silence and said, "tell me the name of the thinker. I would like to read the complete theory of friendliness. In which book has this theory been published? I will read that book."
Now I was sure that this gentleman was not going to leave me without knowing the name of the thinker. I was forced to say - "Sir, these thoughts are of Acharya Rajneesh."
On hearing the name of Acharya Rajneesh, the professor felt as if someone had poured molten glass into his ears. Due to extreme anger, he started clenching his fists tightly. His facial expression became such as if I had forcefully put kunen in his mouth. Concentrating all his strength, He shouted-
"Which atheist's name did you take while lighting the lamps? Rajneesh has started a movement to convert people into atheists. But we will not let this movement succeed. He is making people lose faith in religion. We do not even mention his name. You are harming religion by putting his thoughts in the minds of students. We will not tolerate this."
He warned my friend and his nephew in a strict tone-
"From today onwards, if you stayed with this atheist, no one will be worse off than me. You are not understanding this trap. This is your brain washing."
He started panting. I gathered courage and asked-
"Sir, have you ever read Acharya Ji's book?"
"Why should I read that atheist's book. I have heard it from people that he is a top class atheist. He is brainwashing foreigners and rich people by trapping them in his web of hypnosis, that is why the Government has expelled him from India. He has taken refuge in America. He is a traitor of Indian society. His whole body started trembling due to the excess of anger.
