Human diseases have a deep connection with the lack of love in some way or the other. If a human is unable to love or share love, then sorrow enters life. Lack of love and compassion ties such knots in the mind that it becomes very difficult to open them. These invisible knots are neither visible nor felt. Only great mystics like Osho go into the deep layers of the mind and declare that these inner knots appear in the form of physical and mental illness.

Just as the body becomes weak and ugly without food, similarly the soul becomes weak and ugly without love and compassion. According to Osho, suffering is nothing but the absence of love. Unless the seeds of love germinate, the existence of the soul will not be felt. Osho has called compassion the purest form of love. Compassion includes both physical and spiritual love. In a sense, compassion can also be considered as prayer. Compassion is also considered the highest form of energy.

All the Sadhgurus have said that a compassionate person is only a giver. A compassionate person is happy by giving something. Osho gives an example that in compassion we feel obliged. The basic reason for this is that the other person has taken something from us. Like we take a bouquet of flowers for someone and he accepts our bouquet. A person filled with these feelings feels obliged because the other person has received his love. The compassionate person is said to be prosperous. He is at the pinnacle of life. He just shares and moves on without looking at the reaction.

Thus, those are blessed who have developed feelings of compassion within them. For those who want to awaken the energy of compassion, Osho has suggested the simplest experiments, which if practiced can fill life with compassion. I have given a brief description of how these experiments proved fruitful in my life. I hope that the exercises you do will be successful and you too will be able to drink the nectar of love through compassion.

When we have embarked on the path of purification of emotions, we will first have to practice friendliness, then compassion and after that blissful bliss. Today, 99% of people have gloomy faces.

They will appear to be devoid of desires. They will appear to be covered in a blanket of sorrow and anguish. This is the case with almost everyone. Now what should we do so that pleasure and celebration can take place in our lives so that the flag of success can be hoisted even on the third step of Bhaav Shuddhi. The basic reason for this is that a mind filled with sadness and gloom can never embark on any big mission. If we think deeply, it will appear that sadness and happiness are a habit. If we practice being sad, then the habit of sadness becomes our nature. If we want, we can easily incorporate happiness in our nature.

> Osho clearly says that diseases do not originate in the body; they are born first in the mind. The invisible knots formed due to the absence of love and compassion eventually manifest as suffering. Compassion is the energy that opens the mind and makes life healthy, beautiful, and celebratory.
