What Are Emotions Called? (Part - 14)

We have to practice to develop the centre of compassion within ourselves. Osho has invented an experiment. Through this experiment, not only will our compassion centre develop, but the visitor's personality will also change. Whenever someone comes to meet us, we should sit immersed in ourselves and feel a sense of peace. When that person enters our chamber, we should have a strong feeling of peace for him in our mind. Wish for peace to come into his life. We do not need to wish for this by speaking. Rather, we have to concentrate our mind and think like this with full power. We have to feel like this. Osho says that suddenly you will feel a change in that visitor. Peace will start descending in him. That person will look different than before. The event of meeting you will become pleasant. The desire to cooperate with us will start to arise in the mind of that visitor.
I tried this small experiment several times. Each time I got the desired results.
If you are not able to digest this then read this incident from my life.
Just a year ago, my friend's son was getting married. He had only one son, no daughter. As soon as the wedding date was fixed, he informed me that I should apply for leave from the office. I thought that there are still three months left for the wedding. I will apply for leave at my own pace. Then I got busy with work and forgot to apply for leave. My friend called me after fifteen days and reminded me again, so I told him that two days' leave has been approved.
My friend was very happy. Then I applied and got two days leave. But coincidentally, I could not attend the wedding. It so happened that during those two days, senior officers suddenly visited. Despite the leave being approved, I had to go to the office and make arrangements. My friend and his family got angry due to my not attending the wedding. I had received news from other family members that everyone was very angry. I was worried about what answer I would give to them. The anger of a childhood friend is not considered good.
My anxiety and restlessness increased further when I got the news that my friend and his family were coming to my house on Sunday to meet me. My worries started increasing. To be precise, I was in a state of confusion. Then I remembered the meditation invented by Osho that when the visitor comes, one has to have a strong feeling in the mind that God should create a wave of peace in the heart of the visitor. The mind of the visitor should become peaceful. I did such feeling the whole day. I was doubtful about the results of this small meditation experiment. I was thinking how will I be able to explain my situation. Will I be able to tell them the reality or not?
There were five people. They had boxes of sweets in their hands. Everyone was smiling. All five people hugged me. I was surprised by their behavior. My friend said -
"We know the truth. Now if big officers suddenly arrive, we have to make arrangements for them. We have acknowledged your presence."
"Yes. I tried very hard to reach the wedding day somehow. But my efforts were not successful. I had seen the photos of the function on WhatsApp. It was a good function."
Then I wanted to know my friend's reaction.
The friend's family members spoke together - "Yes. The function was wonderful. For once the weather had scared everyone. Then the weather cleared up. By God's grace everything went well."
Then they returned happily after having tea and breakfast.
In this way, just by doing Bhaav, the mind of the visitor can become calm and positive. This small meditation practice solves the problems in life. Do not believe my experience. Try this small method yourself and let me know the results. The results will be positive. If you have done such Bhaav with full devotion from the depths of your heart, then it is possible to get positive results.
