It is also said that gratitude is the infallible tool to attract God's attention. By always remembering the God's favours, grace and mercy, the seed of gratitude starts sprouting in the mind, which contributes to the purification of our emotions. Shri Harpal writes in his famous book Everyday Gratitude Practice that if the feeling of gratitude is included in life, then small and big miracles start happening in life every day. He claims that for twenty-eight days continuously, ten sentences of gratitude will have to be written every day. Along with this, reasons for expressing gratitude will also have to be written. To make this miracle happen, negative things will have to be avoided. If we are harbouring a feeling of condemnation towards someone or keep singing the song of lack, then this act prevents the seed of gratitude from sprouting. The mentality of just taking has created obstacles. Even when we pray, it is only for ourselves. Praying for others also seems to be a difficult task. Everything that we are getting should remind us of Allah's blessings. This word strengthens our faith and devotion towards Allah. It is considered a powerful word. The pronunciation of this word means that we accept the sovereignty of Allah and his presence in our lives every moment. Mostly this word is used to express gratitude towards Allah. All the praise is for Allah. Complete gratitude is contained in this word. The use of this word can become an important tool to purify our emotions. The only condition is that this word should be pronounced from the depths of the heart.

Osho explained the compassion of God and the miracles of the body in the camp of Mahabaleshwar that -

"Scientists have made unprecedented progress. Even if we open very large factories and employ thousands of experts in them, it is still difficult to digest a single chapati and convert it into blood. This body of yours is doing miracles. This small body, a few bones and a little flesh. Scientists say that there is hardly four or five rupees worth of stuff in this body. Such a big miracle, yet there is no feeling of gratitude towards the body."

Osho asks us whether we have ever loved our body? Have you ever kissed your hand lovingly? Have you ever thought about what is happening? Then he himself answers that there is hardly anyone among you who has loved his eyes. Has anyone expressed gratitude that such a wonderful thing is happening? Osho reveals the mystery and says that everything is happening automatically in the body and we do not have gratitude and love for the body. He suggested that we should be grateful to our body. The reason given for this was that if a person becomes grateful to his body first, then understand that he can be grateful to others as well. How can a person who cannot be grateful to his body be full of gratitude to others? Springs of love flow from this body. If we become acquainted with our own springs, we can be filled with love towards others too.

Whenever we take something from nature, we should have a feeling of gratitude within us. Nature provides air for free. Life without air cannot be imagined. We do not pay attention to this. Nature has given us so many gifts that even if we are filled with gratitude and thanks to nature every moment, it is still less. In many sects, there is a practice of thanking the person who blesses us. The basic intention of the person who blesses us is to wish for our welfare. Therefore, it is our sacred duty to express gratitude to the person who blesses us. Expressing gratitude in this way is the invocation of all religions. Think about it and see how light our mind becomes when we express our thanks. Osho has given a lot of importance to the feeling of thanks.

There is a sentence in the Quran "fabi ayyi ala i rabbikuma tukazziban". The literal meaning of this sentence is that Allah has given us so many gifts that we cannot even imagine. The aayat says which of the blessings of Allah will you deny.
